No. EcomScrub's AI reads your file and figures out the column structure automatically. It doesn't matter if your supplier calls it 'ATTR1' or 'Colour' or 'clr' — the AI understands what it is.
EcomScrub uses the Google Gemini paid API, which means your data is never used for model training — unlike the free tier. Your files are processed and deleted immediately after download.
It almost certainly works. We've processed files with merged header rows, blank columns, currency in wrong locale, duplicate SKUs, and completely non-standard column names. Upload it — you'll see a live preview before any credits are charged.
You connect your Shopify store via secure OAuth — same as installing any Shopify app. EcomScrub then calls Shopify's GraphQL API directly to create products and set inventory. Nothing touches your computer.
One credit = one processed product row. A typical supplier file with 100 products uses around 100 credits. Repeat uploads using a saved Supplier Sync template only charge for rows that actually changed — often 2–5 credits for a 1,000-row file.
