1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, make a purchase, or upload files for processing. This includes your email address, account details, and the e-commerce supplier CSV files you upload to our engine.
2. How We Handle Your Data
EcomScrub is an automated data processing tool. When you upload a CSV file:
- Your data is temporarily parsed by our server and sent to Google Gemini (our AI partner) for formatting and SEO enrichment.
- We do not permanently store your product catalogs. Once the formatted CSV is returned to you, the source file is discarded from our active processing memory.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your supplier data with competing merchants.
3. Third-Party Services
To operate our application, we share necessary data with trusted third parties:
- Google Cloud (Gemini API): Used strictly for processing product descriptions and generating SEO tags.
- Payment Processors: We use industry-standard payment providers (e.g., Stripe or Lemon Squeezy) to process transactions safely. We do not store your credit card numbers on our servers.
4. Data Security
We implement strict security measures, including file buffer sniffing (to prevent malicious uploads like `.exe` files disguised as CSVs) and secure HTTPS encryption, to protect your account and credits.
